My love for beauty and self-expression didn't start in a studio or a boutique; it started when I was ten years old.

I had just transitioned from a private school to a public one, and in that new environment, everything I knew about school changed forever. I looked around and realized I no longer wanted the ponytails and barrettes my mom used to put in my hair. I wanted to let my hair down and find a style that felt like me. When I asked my mom for a change, she gave me the challenge that would define my future:

"If you want your hair a different way, you have to do it yourself."

 

At ten years old, I took that challenge to heart and started doing my own hair. In that moment of independence, my passion for accentuating beauty and taking pride in my appearance was born. I learned early on that we have the power to create our own confidence and that beauty is a tool for self-empowerment.

The Blaqq Beautii Mission

That same ten-year-old girl’s spirit is the driving force behind Blaqq Beautii Boutique. I created this space for women who aren't afraid to take ownership of their own narrative. My mission is to provide you with the pieces that help you feel as powerful as you look.
